The material on this website was discovered several years ago in an abandoned flat. The author has not been heard from since. It consists of a novel in manuscript form, apparently complete, and a notebook. The notebook contains the author’s notes, odd fragments from the novel, and reactions from a handful of people who read the work as it was in progress. None of the text has been edited, but the handwritten notes have been transcribed.

Entries in the notebook suggest that the book was part of a trilogy, though no further manuscripts have been found. It was intended for publication – the drawer in which it was hidden also contained a batch of rejection letters from publishers and literary agents. A comment from one agent has been copied into the notebook, beneath a couple of barely legible words:
